Artists' Exchange offers a variety of art classes and workshops for children and adults. Each class meets once per week for eight weeks consecutively (with the exception of summer classes which meet for six consecutive weeks), while workshops are typically offered during school vacations.
Artisits' Exchange art class offerings include Drawing, Painting, Pottery Wheel, Throwing Mosaics, Jewelry, and more. Artists' Exchange also offers school and group programs, field trips to our art studios, Girls' Night Out gatherings for women, birthday parties and summer camps.

Start

This class will offer students a chance to work in multiple paint mediums
including acrylic and oil while exploring both realistic and abstract painting
techniques. This class is designed for both teens and adults, suitable for all

class will focus on honing drafting and sculptural skills through recreating
fantasy worlds found in The Lord of the Rings, The Lion, The Witch and the

and make miniature models of the mines of Moria, hand build dragon and troll
figurines from clay and Sculpey, and by the end, the class as a group will have
made a fantasy world of their own!

Intermediate Wheel Throwing: Designing the Surface

in which small distinct dots of pure color are applied in patterns to form an image. Some

Participants must have previous experience in a
clay studio, as no instruction will be offered during this time.
Open studio participants will have access to the
studio
during selected times to work on independent
projects.
Fee includes use of all Artists Exchange equipment
including 7 pottery wheels, canvas covered tables, extruder and clay tools.
Firing fees charged separately. Supplies (clay, glazes, etc.) can also be
purchased separately through Artists Exchange.
